The deployment phase includes Microsoft Licensing, phone number allocation, selecting your calling plan, system configuration and testing. Rest assured Teams Calling will guide you through every step of the process to ensure a smooth transition.
Microsoft 365 Licensing
Ensure you’ve got a Microsoft Enterprise E1, E3 or E5 license, with the additional phone system add-on license, for Teams Calling services to become available. (Microsoft Office 365 licenses are purchased separately from within your Office 365 tenancy, or from your Microsoft licensing provider).
Allocate phone numbers
A phone number is required for each Microsoft Teams user. There are two ways to get user numbers:
- Port your existing numbers
You can port or transfer existing numbers from your current service provider or phone carrier to Office 365. Teams Calling will guide you through the process by providing a Port Authority Form (PAF). - Request for new numbers
We have a range of geographical numbers you can choose from. Just ask for a list and we can provide DID’s (Direct In Dial) numbers from 10 blocks to multiple 100 block ranges.
